Dentures are a cost-effective way of replacing missing teeth. The process of creating dentures has been used for decades to provide patients with natural, healthy looking smiles. While we now have other tooth prosthesis options, such as dental implants and bridges, dentures are still the best option in many cases. At Friendly Dentistry, our North Carolina dental health professionals are trained and experienced in helping patients determine whether or not dentures are right for them.
Dentures are a less permanent option than implants or bridges. They are removable every night, and they do not require oral surgery. Dentures and partial dentures are also a good solution for patients who are not candidates for implants due to a lack of bone mass in the jaw, or for patients who are not candidates for bridges due to weak teeth or too many missing teeth to complete the prosthesis.
At our office, we only use the most durable dentures designed to withstand day-to-day chewing for years. All dentures are custom fitted to our patients to ensure comfort and effectiveness. Dentures are usually ready approximately three to four weeks after a patient's initial consultation, although we can have them ready in as little as three to four days if necessary.
If you are in search of a North Carolina dentist who can help you determine whether dentures are right for you, contact us for an appointment today. We can discuss all of your options for replacing your missing teeth, and help you decide what is best for you. We look forward to helping you restore your smile!
